OCTLA Honors Partners with Top Gun Award

The Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA) has given Robinson Calcagnie, Inc. partner Daniel Robinson the honor of receiving a Top Gun Award for 2011.

The Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA) has given Robinson Calcagnie, Inc. partner Jeoff Robinson the honor of receiving a Top Gun Award for 2004.

The Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA) has given Robinson Calcagnie, Inc. founding partner Mark P. Robinson, Jr. the honor of receiving a Top Gun Award for 1996.

Top Gun Trial Lawyer of the Year Awards

The Top Gun Awards are given to outstanding local trial attorneys who have been selected by OCTLA for their “exceptional trial skills‚ ideals of legal ethics‚ and dedication to the principal of preserving access to a justice system for every person.” Attorneys were awarded in the following categories: Personal Injury‚ Business Litigation‚ Medical Malpractice/Elder Abuse‚ and Young Guns. Daniel Robinson was included in the Young Guns category.

About the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association

OCTLA was established in 1963 and has since been pursuing its mission to provide superior education and training for attorneys‚ facilitate access to the collective knowledge‚ experience‚ and resources of its members and to promote and support the laws that protect access to the civil justice system and correct injustice. The Association has several standing committees which help direct it. These committees include:

The Top Gun committee both organizes and executes the annual Top Gun Trial Lawyer of the Year awards program‚ which includes live and silent auctions to benefit a chosen local charity. In 2011‚ the charities were DSAOC Down Syndrome Association of Orange County (DSAOC) and United Cerebral Palsy of Orange County (UCP-OC).

Daniel Robinson specializes in civil litigation and has conducted several trials in his pursuit of justice for those harmed by negligence‚ including a trial in 2010 where a Los Angeles jury awarded a $14‚548‚350.76 verdict to a plaintiff who became a paraplegic after an SUV driver ran a stop sign.
