Robinson Calcagnie, Inc. Partner Daniel S. Robinson Appointed by Federal Judge as Plaintiffs’ Interim Co-Lead Counsel for Experian Data Breach Litigation

Robinson, a Robinson Calcagnie, Inc. partner and consumer-rights attorney, and Tina Wolfson of Ahdoot & Wolfson, P.C. have been appointed as Plaintiffs’ Interim Co-Lead Counsel in the nationwide consolidated data breach litigation against Experian Holdings, Inc. and Experian Information Solutions, Inc. (“Experian”), In Re Experian Data Breach Litigation, Case No. 8:15-cv-01592-AG-DFM.  The Honorable Andrew J. Guilford is presiding over the litigation in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.  The Court noted in its order appointing Mr. Robinson and Ms. Wolfson and that it was “especially encouraged by the high level of support” for their application “among other lawyers and Plaintiffs in these consolidated actions.”

The data breach class action lawsuit, which was brought on behalf of 15 million Experian consumers, alleges Experian failed to adequately safeguard the sensitive personal information, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, names, addresses, and other personal information of its consumers.  Experian is a global information services company that helps to manage credit risk, prevent fraud, target marketing offers and automate decision making.
